VAN YEN SECONDARY SCHOOL CORDIALLY ANNOUNCES THE PROGRAMME CELEBRATING ITS 60TH ANNIVERSARY (1966–2026)
Sixty years – a journey of sowing the seeds of knowledge and nurturing the future. A journey shaped by the dedication of generations of teachers, othe dreams of students, and the enduring love for our beloved Van Yen School. Over the past six decades, countless teachers have devoted themselves wholeheartedly to education, and generations of students have grown up, carrying with them unforgettable memories. Time may change the world around us, but the bonds between teachers and students, the friendships we cherish, and the precious years spent at Van Yen School will forever remain beautiful memories in our hearts.
As Van Yen Lower Secondary School celebrates its 60th anniversary (1966–2026), the school is pleased to announce that a series of commemorative activities will take place on 14 and 15 November 2026. This is not merely an opportunity to reflect on six decades of growth and development; it is also a joyful homecoming, a time for reunions, gratitude, and pride. It is a special occasion for teachers to reconnect with their former students, for old friends to reminisce about their schooldays, and for today's students to appreciate the school's proud traditions and carry forward its enduring mission: “Sowing the Seeds of Knowledge – Nurturing the Future.”
The school is honoured to share the detailed programme of the 60th anniversary celebrations with generations of school leaders, teachers, staff members, current students, alumni, and parents as follows:
Sixty years – generations have come and gone, yet the love for Van Yen lives on. There are schools that, no matter how many years have passed since we left them, can still stir our hearts the moment we hear their names. There are teachers, classmates, and memories that seem to have faded into the past, yet come rushing back with the same warmth and vividness as if no time had passed at all. With deep emotion and immense pride, Van Yen Lower Secondary School warmly welcomes generations of school leaders, teachers, staff members, current students, alumni, and parents to reunite, share cherished memories, and create lasting moments together as we celebrate the school's 60th anniversary. Your presence is not only a great honour and a source of immense joy for the school, but also a meaningful continuation of the bonds between teachers and students, the friendships we hold dear, and the enduring love for our beloved school across generations.
Though time may pass and life may lead us to different corners of the world, Van Yen will always hold a part of our youth—a place where love and cherished memories will always find their way home. We look forward to seeing you again beneath the roof of our beloved Van Yen School—a place where sixty years of memories come together, where knowledge continues to take root, and where dreams continue to take flight! VAN YEN SECONDARY SCHOOL
